Zepto.js – A Minimalist JavaScript Framework for Mobile WebKit Browsers

Zepto.js is a JavaScript framework for mobile apps and mobile websites; it’s a jQuery compatible syntax which supported lots of the jQuery API. The main goal of the plugin is to have a 2k library that handles most basic drudge work with a nice API that developers might already know so they can concentrate on getting stuff done.

Zepto.js is:

• Minimalist, jQuery-ish framework
• Use WebKit features as much as possible
• Only targets mobile browsers
• Can be “upgraded”
• Inlineable
