The Google Panda Update, One Year Later [Infographic]
Last year Google had announced the “Panda Update”. The update targeted the low quality contents. The update actually filters low quality content from the top search results and return higher-quality sites near the top of the search results. The Google’s search results ranking algorithm that was first released in February 2011 also dropped the rankings for sites with much advertisement. This change reportedly affected the rankings of almost 12 percent of all search results of Google.
