HTC 4G Sensation Android will get 4.0 on May 16, Amaze 4G to get update in the coming weeks
T-Mobile’s has announced that HTC Sensation 4G will get a upgrade to Ice Cream Sandwich very soon, the software update will begin filming on May 16. With Sense 3.6 instead of the new Sense 4 is included in recent HTC phones. If you’re impatient, you can not wait for the update and want to upgrade as soon as possible, begin to check the options that offer updates HTC software in the setup menu. T-Mobile has been taking the hair of users with this update since March, so we’re happy to see that finally has release date official.
Downloading update from HTC
Connect to Wi-Fi for fastest download because this is a large update and can even take more then 20 minutes when downloading over the GSM network, so we recommended Connect to Wi-Fi before updating for best results. Remember HTC Sensation 4G will be required to add Wi-Fi Mobile Hotspot feature in order to use the service after completing this update. If you got Over the Air update (OTA), that’s great if not you may request the update from the update servers, to download or check for updates follow the given steps:
- From the Home screen, press the Menu key then go to Touch Settings.
- Touch About phone, Touch HTC software updates then Touch Check.
- Follow the on-screen prompts then wait as your phone restarts and updates to Android 4.0.3 / Software version 3.32.531.14710RD.

T-Mobile also has an updated page where the live Android 4.0 will be available to the HTC 4G Amaze in the coming weeks. This is quite ambiguous, but we hear that Amaze 4G, would receive an update during the same time as the Sensation 4G, so it is not surprising to see this update available in early summer. Action remains to be seen in the Ice Cream Sandwich update for Galaxy S II T-Mobile .

Great post. Iam doing the update on my HTC sensation. My phone has an issue that when I receive a call and slide the ring to reject it still accepts the calls ..pretty embarrassing.. I hope this update will fix it.. anyone out there had the same issue.. Thanks
