I know most of you get f8 news. F8 conference has unveiled some really creative and cool new Facebook features called timeline. Now you can view your profile in timeline. Facebook will soon replace your old profile with timeline. It’s been released for developer only for now and will be available for public soon. The Timeline captures who you are, what are your works, when you start working, what you have been doing till now, where you have been right from your birth to date. etc.
F8 IS FOR DEVELOPERS, ENTREPRENEURS AND INNOVATORS WHO ARE CREATING A MORE SOCIAL WEB.
Its cool isn’t it? I know you are excited and want to active the Facebook Timeline right at this now. Below is step to step guide to Activate Facebook Timeline. Just following the simple steps to active facebook Timeline:
How to Active or Enable Facebook Timeline feature?
Step1:
Just go to https://developers.facebook.com/apps then Create New App
With App display name and namespace. Choose anything which is available.
Step2:
after that you will be on page where you will see the App ID, Secret key and other details. Now Click on Open Graph option link on the left sidebar.
Then type any text like ‘it’s cool’ etc which you like to submit after that click Get Started button.
Step3:
After that it will redirect you to the next page where you will see Action Types, just scroll down and just click Save Changes button and then Next
Next, Time Aggregrations, now again scroll down and click Save.
That’s all. It’s time to get back to your profile where you will see the Active timeline button on header.
